GENERAL

Yes, we ask for a deposit of two months’ rent.

Don’t worry, it’ll be returned within two months after check-out, as long as everything’s in good shape and there are no unpaid bills.

Yes! Each room comes furnished with a 140 cm bed, desk, wardrobe, wash basin, lighting and curtains.

A desk chair and mattress are not included, as these are very personal choices. The same goes for kitchen supplies, bed linen, and towels.

And yes, super-fast WiFi is guaranteed at JACKEY. Because let’s be honest, a student without WiFi is like a boat without a sail.

There is no car parking available at any JACKEY sites, but we are very accessible and close to public transport. Sufficient bike storage options are available.

LIVING AT JACKEY

Jackey offers a variety of rooms and studios, each with a different size.

The exact number of square meters can vary depending on where the room is located in the building and what’s available at the time. When you apply, you’ll see all the details clearly before moving forward.

Your room won’t magically clean itself (and we’re pretty sure it didn’t do that at home either ). Keeping it tidy is your responsibility.

Please report any maintenance issues via the JACKEY app.

Your problem will be logged and a member of our maintenance team will help resolve the issue as soon as possible.

No curfew at JACKEY. Night owl or early bird, you’re free to come and go.

Just be a good neighbour and keep the noise down between 11 PM and 7 AM.

Yes, we offer bicycle storage at each of our locations.

We have a zero-tolerance policy on smoking in our buildings and in outdoor shared spaces.

Buildings are equipped with security cameras and every student gets a unique code to enter the building and their room.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT

The entire check-in process is completed online. All required documents are submitted when signing your contract.
On the day of check-in, all you need to bring are your suitcases.

At 4:00 PM on check-in day, you’ll receive your unique Salto code. Make sure to check your email that day!

Your code will only be valid from 4:00 PM. The code will be send to your email on the day of check-in.

All check-out instructions will be sent to you — the process is fully self check-out.

We will perform a final inspection afterward and decide based on that whether your deposit will be returned.

JACKEY is more than just student housing, it’s a community. Shared kitchens, gardens, study spaces and regular on-site events make it easy to meet people and feel at home.

Yes, we only allow students in our JACKEY buildings.

CANCELLATION AND FEES

All cancellation terms are included in your contract. Contact us if you wish to apply them.

Subletting is not allowed, but feel free to reach out, we’ll work with you to find a solution.
